WHO I AM

I am William Mukaisu also called the Artsyguru. I want to welcome you all to my be a part of my adventures into the world of Arts. From the kitchen to my sewing room, from my art room and to the outdoors, we will have a fabulous time learning new things.
I was very blessed that my parents introduced me to life on a small farm. It was hard work when I was there but looking back it was an exciting time, learning about cattle and having the opportunity to grow anything I wanted. Tilling the soil was like meditation and watching plants grow would take away all of the outside worlds worries for a moment.
In college I jumped into Theatre, where I went into the costume department. I thought there might be others with me but I found out otherwise. I was so nervous but had an amazing teacher whose experience was far beyond what I knew. I learned many things about various designs and methods for costumes, color choices, matching characters personalities...etc. It was a time that I was surrounded with wonderful people trying to move to the next step in life.
Over the years I found myself teaching classes in Stained glass. Refining my ways of making people more comfortable to not worry about making mistakes but making those mistakes something to learn from. We are raised to not break glass, so I was dealing with these antiquated issues. Then came the worries of dealing with sharp objects, molten metal, Lead, it is definitely a project that will deal with many fears. By the time we finished I found that most of the students that seemed to have the most fears were actually the ones who got the most excited and loved stained glass. We must not let fear hold us back. Leave our fears behind and move forward.
My life has now been blessed with a wonderful and loving husband, fabulous kids, wonderful additions from many people in my life and my wonderful pet Belle that you will see on some of the videos. I want everyone to know that you may always send me questions about anything you need to know about the projects you are working on. Thank you for visiting. Have a fabulous day!!!!
