Today we make a wonderful fresh Pecan Pie. The crust is homemade butter shortened, and tastes like butter cookies, giving the pie a wonderful buttery taste. Fresh eggs, butter, and pure Vanilla extract give this pie a wonderful homemade taste!
Ingredients:
Butter Shortened Pie Crust
2 cups flour
2 jumbo (or 3 small) eggs
4 Tablespoons Water (room temperature)
1 pinch of salt
10 Tablespoon Butter Cubed (cold)
Non-Stick cooking spray
Pecan Pie Filling
1 Cup Sugar
½ Teaspoon Salt
2 Cups Chopped or Halved Pecans
3 Jumbo Eggs
¾ Cup Light Corn Syrup (Dark may be used also)
1 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
