It's time for pumpkin pie!!!
A new fabulous recipe that gets us ready for the fall season. This wonderful pie is perfect. The seasoning are very flexible, I always want you to remember that you should never be afraid to add extra seasoning. I love a little extra cinnamon. It is light and goes perfect with fresh whipped cream. I hope you enjoy and have a FABULOUS Fall season.
Ingredients
Crust
1 1/3 (181 grams) cup of Flour
1/2 teaspoon (3 grams) of salt
1/2 cup (95 grams) of lard or shortening
2 tablespoons (30 grams) of water
Fresh Pumpkin Pie filling
2 cups (450 grams) of Pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon (1.25 grams) of ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon (1.25 grams) of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon (1.25 grams) of nutmeg
3/4 cup (150 grams of packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon (3 grams) of salt
2 beaten eggs
12 ounces (375 ml) of heavy whipping cream
